I leave at 5AM for California. I’m terrified. 

I have never been on a trip alone before and I’m scared.

People who buy tickets to VidCon aren’t allowed to sell their tickets to anyone else. 

This means that if you bought your ticket and something happens like you break your leg or a family member dies, you can’t sell your ticket to a friend (or in some cases a stranger) to go in your place. Whoever bought the ticket is the only one who can use the ticket. 

While this is great because of safety/security reasons, people are losing hundreds of dollars. 

I hope that in the future VidCon comes up with a plan or solution for people who planned on going but ended up not being able to. Maybe after the cut off date VidCon will buy back the tickets for half the price or something…

Also, people who are selling the tickets should be charged for not reading the fine print. It clearly says that after the cut off date tickets are NON REFUNDABLE and they can’t be traded or sold. 

This really is a lose lose situation for everyone. 

If you have any questions about your ticket or you bought a ticket from someone else you should e-mail info@vidcon.com to find out if anything can be done. 

I’m sure in extreme cases exceptions can be made…but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Is anyone coming early to VidCon and needs somewhere to stay?

I’m thinking of getting a room from Monday the 25th to Wednesday the 27th.

I accidentally made my flight 3 days too early and I need a roommate(s) for those 3 days.

The room is 72 dollars a night. It comes out to 260 for the 3 days. I would pay half and you would pay half, or whatever depending on how many people want to stay. 

Oh, I’m not creepy or anything…also, I’m a girl and I’m 25.

Please let me know ASAP.
